Is there ANY way to get a dog to shed less? - anti-shed pill

My German shorthair pointer mutt is the worst shedder ever. Is there a pill or something that can be accessed from a PC?

I use the shampoo against dandruff and everything takes a bit more than any dog I've ever seen!
